Symbolics Lab is an independent research initiative studying the structure of distinction — how symbolic forms emerge, operate, and transform under pressure. The lab works across formal logic, philosophy of science, aesthetic theory, and AI, unified by a shared formal vocabulary and a verification infrastructure in Agda.

Philipe Barsamian holds an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal, a graduate diploma in taxation from HEC Montréal, and a BFA from Concordia University (with Great Distinction). Before founding Symbolics Lab, he practiced tax law and co-founded a film production company in Montreal.

His research has been presented or accepted at the World Congress on Universal Logic (Cusco), Leibniz University Hannover, CSIC Madrid, the University of Konstanz, ENS Paris (Derrida Today), and ESPACE art actuel. He is based in Montréal, Québec.
